Pilates at Play
The Pilates Center of Olympia (PCO) opened as the first fully-equipped Pilates studio south of Seattle in 1998. We adopted “Pilates at Play” as the phrase that best describes our philosophies and the value of levity in exercise. In 2001, we relocated from Woodland Creek Physical Therapy to our current location in
downtown Olympia.
Our Studio
Located in a historic building that once housed a car dealership, PCO provides 1,800 square feet of natural light, vibrant color, high ceilings, and a comfortable temperature – warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Everything PCO offers was created with you in mind. We provide everything you need; mats, props, music, equipment, water, a restroom, and dressing rooms for men and women. We even use an aromatic blend of essential oils in our mat and equipment cleaning solution.
PCO offers the following Pilates at Play classes for both men and women: Apparatus, Mat, and “Swing-A-Lates” (Pilates on playground swings). PCO also offers Pole Dancing for Fitness classes for women only. You can also host an event at PCO by renting the studio and our instructors for a two-hour “Pole Party” - perfect for bachelorette events, birthdays, girls’ night out, etc.
